Scott,

What powers settings are you using?

I too have the O-200 and my range is about the same as the published
numbers
for the C-75/C-85. I run around 2400-2450rpm with a cruise around
100-105mph. I average about 5.2 to 5.6 gph(a few times it was down to
4.8).
If I fly at 2500 rpm my fuel consumption goes to about 6 gph and I only
get
about 1-2mph. Not worth it in my opinion

I think the O-200 coupe is great! With the cold MN winters here, and just
me in the plane, the thing climbs like crazy. Last week I had about 1/2
fuel and I climbed out around 1400 fpm. In the summertime when I'm at
gross
and it is hot(90 +) I haven't seen it any lower that 500 fpm. As for
speed
it is respectable, not the fastest coupe, but not the slowest either.

strong wind. But for normal every day flying around, I dont find the O-200
to be very efficiant. I am hardpressed to get mine below 7.5 gal/hr. I
have
the marvel carb too.
