Ed, I bought an EGT that I am going to put in just to see where peak is. I am also going to get my tach checked to see how off it is. I dont like burning that much fuel. Especially when I want to go somewhere. Recently I found that when I fly from school back home I can do the round trip, but not much more. It is 80nm each way. With a tailwind one way and a headwind the other, the 160nm comes out to about 3/4 of the mains. I hope I figure this out before Daytona. It is about 819nm. I would like to do it with only 3 stops.
