Fred, it is really simple to make one, I used glass tube, super strong epoxy glue, the type you mix two parts, and vehicle pin striping to indicate the gas levels. How you rig the plane to acsertain where the levels should be is up to you. You will really like the clear glass.For the top of the glass I used a plastic plug which began life as a drywall screw plug and was opaque in color. I cut off the threaded part except for about 3/8 inch under the lip. The outside diameter of the plug was exactly the same as the inside diameter of the glass. I used the same glue as for the glass and aluminum. It is now 3 years old and in great shape.
