Guys - As a lawyer, I can tell you that Ed is right.
Juries aren't stupid, and it's clear to me that this guy intends to make one believe that this airplane can flown as LSA compliant. He says that "you should be good to go". He's giving a statement that is not true. I'd love to have this guy in a courtroom. In all his statements he always thinks: he has heard, he suggests, it could be . etc. Well, my mechanic told me many things too. He told me how I easily could get 120 hp out of my C-85. So I could make a statement that my Ercoupes engine could be capable of getting 120hp out and maybe making 130 Miles even - indicated. NOT a lie. or ? The seller may erroneously or fraudulently say with “truth” that, “According to my experience, a new weight and balance and you should be good to go as As a LSA”. The plane still can’t ever be legal as an LSA even with a thousand changed weight and balance forms.
