You will be right. After all I am not a native speaker.
But when you consider this plane as a parts donor, it or parts of it might be 
flying sometime as an LSA again.
 
I also am convinced now that the seller is not familiar with Ercoupe 
distinctions.
I think I see cleveland wheels, three point belts, large baggage compartment 
and a spin on filter. I would at least picture this to show the value of the 
plane.
 
But generally the way the plane looks to me, it is barely worth fixing , even 
IF it would be LSA eligible.

IS claiming that his pile of parts could, somehow, qualify as a light sport
