Still not getting it, I guess. What are all those changes, Ed?

Landing gear must be modified according to Note 3 paragraph (f) of the TCDS
<http://www.airweb.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgMakeModel.nsf/0
/36fc39ae4a59c7418525673e0067ba7b/$FILE/a-718.pdf> Aircraft Specification
A-718.
Straight elevators must incorporate the 1 3/8" trim tab and Model "D" travel
limits.
Previously approved split elevator installations are acceptable.

The other items in NOTE 3 don't really apply. There are no structural
changes required in changing the 415-C or 415-CD to be a 1400 lb. 415-D
(except for the stainless steel skin over the header tank).

Know of any other changes necessary for the 1260 gwi?

1 3/8" trim tab and elevator up travel change.

So let me ask why wasn't the CD's gwi increased?

The CD model is also eligible for this 1320 lb. gross weight STC.
