Take chill pill, professor manure mouth and after thinking a bit, which
obviously seems to be against your nature, tell me how the STC helps you become
a safer pilot or the aircraft a safer aircraft. You couldn't do it before, you
won't be able to now. I'm against the paper gross weigh increase, okay, live
with it. Add a couple of stiffeners, do the flight testing and I'll go for it.
It certainly is a shame that people have opinions other than yours, isn't it!

Bill, I understand the C to CD mod which is a great one and it does everything
I think a mod should. The D STC only for the GWI is one I don't believe in.
The travel restriction could also be applied to the CD, but that would be
illegal and make folks afraid of ramp checks with protractors!

I bought the STC from SkySport in Middletown, Ohio, for $205. That's
the cost for the STC, however any of the required aircraft
modifications are additional. Further, I don't understand the snide
comments from some members of this blog questioning why one wants to
add the STC and how safe flights can't be purchased and all that
crap. If you aren't going to help answer a member's question with a
reasoned response, why not just keep your opinions to yourself? When
I first came here I asked the same question about the STC and got the
same smart ass type response basically from the same member. Why do
you care what anyone wants to do to his or her aircraft so long as
it's legal and appropriate for that owner's needs? Not that I or
anyone else owes you an explanation, but here's mine: I GOT THE STC
BECAUSE I WANTED IT!! Having said that, perhaps now you can
finally "get it." But that remains to be seen.
