What's Al got against being legal?  Anyway, if a Fed ramps you, all he 
has to do is check your wt & bal forms, that you are supposed to always 
have on board, and calculate if you are over gross or not.
Finding that 90 lb CFI for a biennial can be a real challenge too.  
Especially the cute ones.
Another point, the changes to a C/D for the 1320 gross weight change 
are minimal.  Virutally, all you have to do is limit the elevator up 
travel to 9 degrees, as I recall, by changing the position of the 
limiting collar on the elevator control tube.  All the other changes 
had already been incorporated into the C/D at the factory.
