I bought the STC from SkySport in Middletown, Ohio, for $205. That's the cost for the STC, however any of the required aircraft modifications are additional. Further, I don't understand the snide comments from some members of this blog questioning why one wants to add the STC and how safe flights can't be purchased and all that crap. If you aren't going to help answer a member's question with a reasoned response, why not just keep your opinions to yourself? When I first came here I asked the same question about the STC and got the same smart ass type response basically from the same member. Why do you care what anyone wants to do to his or her aircraft so long as it's legal and appropriate for that owner's needs? Not that I or anyone else owes you an explanation, but here's mine: I GOT THE STC BECAUSE I WANTED IT!! Having said that, perhaps now you can finally "get it." But that remains to be seen.
