Actually Pete, dankseeds goes to great length to find,
transfer and review the 'best sounding' recordings
(take 'best souding' with a grain of salt as it's
always subjective.)
There are frequent 'Hey, Joe's Schoeps source sounds
better than Steve's Neumanns' and so on. In fact we
are currently polling to decide which of several
sources are best for ph04-02-98, ph04-03-98,
ph04-04-98 and ph04-05-98.

Great sounding tapes abound outside of dankseeds, but
rest assured if it's a dankseed it's top quality.
