That ad is probably for a CRT. Show me a consumer level 19" LCD
that does 1600x1200 and I'll buy you a beer or coffee. My plasma
will take up to a 1600x1200 input but only displays 1024x1024.

Sony makes a 8ms LCD but not sure how readily available they
are.
Viewsonic makes good tubes. I wouldn't buy their LCDs and their
plasmas suck big time. NEC has one of the best pictures when it
comes to clarity, color, and viewing angle. Watch the warranties
though. The cheaper Accusync line is always 1 year while most
(not all) Multisync series are 3 years on the whole unit. My
Samsung SyncMaster 710N-2 is a wonderful monitor. I'm waiting
until I can get a second one though. After using a 21" tube at
1600x1200 for so long I miss all that desktop space. My thoughts
for buying a 17" LCD is two of them will cost as much as a nice
20" LCD and give me even more real estate.

That be all for now,
Mr O.

I have an ad for a 19 inch one that is 1600x1200. Rare, I
admit. I had been looking for a long time before running into
it. (I set it aside at home, so I don't have it with me.)

Can you point me to an 8ms LCD? I am very interested.
