Truer words never spoken. I've been sick long times, overworked, made
mistakes that resulted big setbacks. 2 steps forward, 1.8 back. To say
nothing of battling squirrels and mice for possession of my garage. Can't
EVen keep up with the list. Still, I decided that this is one project that
is not going to be ruined by entropy, so I keep on going back for
more. And I get encouragement by reading messages from the only people
who have any idea what I'm doing.

Suddenly there are watt-hours at the end of the tunnel and I am within days
of having the motor (and wheels, I hope) turn with electric power.

A passerby on the weekend stopped to ask me what I was working on. He
asked me why not put a generator on the wheels to charge the batteries
while I drive. I told him that's what the motor will do, but it will slow
the car down, and it's called regenerative braking. Ah, he said, with some
disappointment
