I'm a bit amused about the speculations concerning what
will make the Tilleymobile run. Let me take a try at
guessing what might happen.

My guess is that the DeLorean will not be significantly
modified. A few measures will be taken to minimize
engine noise and vibration and make any remaining
noise sound like something else. Add music, announcers,
celebrity appearances and magic sideshows to the usual
racetrack distractions. People more than 30 feet away
won't hear any car sounds. Celebrity drivers with no detailed
knowledge about automobiles can be convinced that
whatever they hear is not an engine. Elvis might put
in an appearance and take a few laps behind the wheel.

If you are close to Nashville and curious about how the
illusion will be created, then by all means go. Expect
to see a magic show and a bit of circus, not a technical
demonstration.
