What happened to the military and the hybird hum v? I thought I saw on an episode of
motor week that they choose them over teh standard hum v because for one it beat the
regular one on a test strip in a speed/aceleration test.

Trains at one time used turbines, but it was cost prohibited. They rather use 2 12
cyliner 3500 horse power diesel motors and a generator. Hey, does that make it a
hybird? Some even use batteries to bump the motor around inthe yards? What about those
big 3 story dump trucks they use out west and in mineing operations? Arent those
hybirds?
