Maybe I misunderstood what you meant. You said Countries with death penalty have usually more homicides than the others. >> Well, that's my opinion. > > So I thought it was your opinion that countries with the death penalty have more murders. Hence my answer. Anyway, for your information, on the top map the colours are darker for more murders per head of population, which I think mainly shows that there are more murders in poorer countries on the whole (which is probably not surprising). On the second map, the death penalty is current in the red countries, the dark green ones don't have it at all, the light green ones only have it for exceptional circumstances like war crimes, and the orange ones have it in theory, but have a moratorium and haven't used it for at least 10 years.
> Well it's a matter of statistics - either they do or they don't. >> > Well, "opinion" refers to what I think about death penalty. 'course. > For the statistics could tell tell what the colors means? > See above. > Here's the murder rate... >> >> >> >> Here's the countries with the death penalty... >> >> >> >> Hmm looks kind of inverse...ish. >> > Confirming what I said, or the contrary (which would contradict what I > read about)? > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Everything List" group.
