you are correct as usual. One of the earliest things I mentioned to Deutsch 
was whether he could demonstrate Popper's 'explanation' of 
the Western democratic idea as 'error correction' was capable of 
distinguishing the West from the soviet union. His answer was totally 
unsatisfactory and I told him so.
