It's probably because you find it boring that you have spent zero time thinking about it and just assume that words like "you" and "he" and "I" and "THE first person view" are obvious even in a world with matter duplicating machines. But they are anything but obvious and that is exactly why your "proof" is ridiculous. > > > it is because the Helsinki man is in both W and M after the duplication, > that the Helsinki man, when still in Helsinki, cannot predict which city he > will feel to be in > And the above is a good example of what I'm talking about when I say personal pronouns can hide a lot of sloppy thinking. I will change the personal pronoun "he" in it to the thing it refers to: " it is because the Helsinki man is in both W and M after the duplication, that the Helsinki man, when still in Helsinki, cannot predict which city the Helsinki man will feel to be in " W hich city ? If as you say "t he Helsinki man is in both W and M " why on earth would you expect just one city to be the correct answer to that question? And I can already hear Bruno's answer, he will say "I'm talking about the 1-view" as if there is no need to specify whose 1-view he's talking about because doing so would be boring. > > > which have no consequences on the way to test comp > Not interested. I don't care about "comp" or any of your baby talk or countless homemade acronyms that nobody except those on this list have ever heard of.
