No Ukrainian has received any training on it and it would take not weeks but the better part of a year for anyone to get up to speed. So if Patriot missiles are to be sent to Ukraine then American soldiers will have to be sent too as they are the only ones that have sufficient training. And American boots on the ground would be a huge step along the escalation road that dead ends at total war. It should be remembered that although Russia is an economic pygmy with a GNP less than that of California or even Texas, it's still a military superpower with thousands of thermonuclear warheads at its disposal. And I also remind you that Ukraine is not a member of NATO, it takes a unanimous vote to bring in a new member, there are 30 members in NATO and as of today I don't believe a single one would approve of Ukraine joining.
