It's just magic called SIS. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Stephen Reboulet Sent: Monday, June 21, 2004 5:21 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Backup Size Question
One question that has been nagging me is that the end result of backing up the mailboxes on my Exchange server, exceeds the total file size of the priv.edb file. When I'm done backing up, it finishes and say 31gb of data backed up (Veritas). But the private.edb file is only 22gb. Actually if I take the whole drive, I'm only using 23gb. Is this typical to have such a size discrepancy when backing up individual mailboxes? Some data duplicated twice by this method? -stephen- _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang =english To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
