Sadly, all the ones which are capable of handling these environments are pricey. Of those, only NetBackup supported all the clients we needed. It has something of a learning curve, although I have to admit I have never had a bad backup reported as a good one. When it fails, it fails. When it reports that it has succeeded, we have (knock on wood) never had an unuseable backup. Its kind of sad that nobody to my knowledge has ever said how much they love there backup software. The best rating I've heard is "more or less adequate".
