Yeah, we talked to a few places using fibre channel drives and all counseled
HEAVILY against BackupExec.

Sadly, all the ones which are capable of handling these environments are
pricey. Of those, only NetBackup supported all the clients we needed. 

It has something of a learning curve, although I have to admit I have never
had a bad backup reported as a good one. When it fails, it fails. When it
reports that it has succeeded, we have (knock on wood) never had an
unuseable backup. 

Its kind of sad that nobody to my knowledge has ever said how much they love
there backup software. The best rating I've heard is "more or less
adequate".
