Which is as it should be!

That was one of my initial thoughts also.  But my temps 
from gkrellm are fine. Highest I've seen was about 50c 
under heavy load on a hot day.

And most of these crashes have occured while the system 
was idle or very lightly loaded.  Some others have 
described freezes during boot-up.  

Also, this system was rock solid under heavy load with a
RedHat 6.2 variant for about 2 weeks.  I didn't so much
as move the case between that & my Mandrake 8 install.  
Additionaly, it will sometimes stay up for several days 
at a time under various loads before it mysteriously dies.
Other times it locks up withing minutes of booting up.
  
So I'm pretty confident that it's not a hardware problem.

Nvidia has just released some new drivers.  I'll try them
this weekend if I find some time.
