I personally am not in favor of the conventional shocks for our cars. I do solo only (no road racing). However, if you guys are truly interested in the shock deal, check out the coil-overs that the new 4 wheel atvs have. Some of the 4 wheelers are closing in on 600 to 700 lbs, not quite the 200 lb machines of old. With that kind of weight, the coil-overs should be closely matched to the needs of our cars. I dont know what they cost, but a call or 2 to your local dealership would give a ball-park. My guess would be in the $150 each area. Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki all make these, as well as Polaris and a few others. Bill Schmidt 88 Red Devil Kawi (traditionalist)
