If we eventually went the 600 crotch rocket route, we would do good to talk to the Formula SAE folks. I have seen them at solo events and picked their brains on numerous occasions. They currently use fuel injection with a tiny throttle body. I think the throttle body is around 2 inches in diameter. I was told by one of the kids that the engine produces about 80% of what it did from the factory, due to the restricted throttle size. They still have more power than they know what to do with!
