I don't quite agree Dan, but I do understand how it can appear that they do not care. Part of the problem is that some people directly call the members of the BOD & that is OK to influence things but the rest of us need to do the same thing.

"IDIOTIC exhaust length rule. Simply attaching a manufactured muffler makes the car illegal. Of course SCCA officials have only been aware of this for 4 or 5 years now." yep and f500 is the only class that the original print is set in permanent stone....there are changes in every other class every month, how many has the f500 community seen????? Nothing is going to change in this class, and there is very little effort in any of the other formula classes either, the only reason formula cars remain in the scca is the funding, and the fact that if they dont semi support formula cars, some other organization might pick up the club racing formula cars and weaken the scca over-all, I have mentioned this before but the only way anything is going to change is if ALL the formula groups get together and demand some kind of voice in the process again you play by thier rules and you have no say, well get everyone in formula to net renew thier membership and screw up thier proposed budget for the year. kinda like going on strike. If your not looking at what they do then your blind heres a clip from this months fasttrack The Board of Directors acknowledged that SCCA Enterprises has announced a FormulaCar Magazine Championship for their formula car. "The SCCA Board of Directors has no interest in this matter." The minute you say formula anything, they have no interest, wake up people until this attitude towards the formula community changes your wasting your time trying to get anywhere!!!! sorry for all the negativity but it is what it is and if you cant see it then your blind. Think about it if you add up all the formula classes in the scca that have no input what kind of $$$ does that turn into in a year????? dan >From: John Whitling <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >Subject: Re: [F500] Class survival. >Date: Mon, 12 Mar 2007 14:52:07 -0400 > >If noise is really an objection that is easily solved.
