Ah, but strangely, it is. :-) If there is no non-liberation, as our teachers have told us and as some of us have had glimpses of, being a pompous ass is just as valid a way to pass an incarnation as any other. Not necessarily as useful to other pompous assholes along the Way, but just as valid. On one level, it's just the Absolute playing with itself. In public. Some walk by and see the mani- festation of the Absolute playing with his self, and others walk by and see only Self. Either Way, they walk by, and find assholiness of their own.
