What can be seen, on a regular basis, and in front of journalists 
is, yes, hopping. But levitation is spontaneously happening quite 
often, it is just not predictable where and when and to whom it 
happens.
Levitation doesn't necessarily mean that you lift off and stay in 
the air for minutes. If for eample, and this is happening all the 
time; you lift off and come down, but you don't actually hit the 
ground before you lift upp again. It is as if instead of hitting the 
ground, you hit a "pillow of air" and then you take off again. Or 
making a jump of say, 7 meters from sitting position. I've done that 
many times, but in front of journalists ? I doubt it since the 
coherence in the physiology which enables that does not yet have 
enough stability.
So keep on practising folks - those who takes these techniques 
serious are destined to fly :-)
