My quickest technique is using a flicker or handcard. Put it on you lap teeth up. Lay the butt side on the teeth, lightly press in and pull the tog off. Put your next lock on and repeat until the teeth won't hold anymore. Pull the nice soft stuff off and spin it.
You can do that with fine 2 row combs as well. Just keep putting locks on and one by one pulling the tog off. Leave the thel on to save time. When the comb is full, pull the thel off.
