My favorite fleece was from a natural colored Romney/Lincoln/Corriedale cross from Natty Locks that I purchased over 13 years ago. It had the most amazing luster and handle as well as a range of silver and gray-blue colors. I think that they have gone out of business - they used to be vendors at Maryland Sheep & Wool a ways back. Now I am pursuing similar color, luster and handle in my natural colored Romneys with the "old style" more open crimp structure and high luster.
