Welcome to the world of multi-shaft rising shed looms. They are all heavy to treadle. AVL has 2 options - neither inexpensive - air assist using compressed air to assist in lifting all that weight and elift, an electronic lifter. You mention untangling Texsolv heddles. If the 100 heddle bunches have been cut apart it is more difficult to keep them untangled. If it works for you to leave them in 100-heddle chains, pulling the last threaded heddle pulls directly on a link to the next one so tangling is not a problem. Also, remember that Texsolv heddles were designed as a replacement for string heddles on CM and CB looms that don't have fixed heddle frames. Where the heddle frame is fixed, they have to be rather tight to keep them from slipping around during weaving.
