The spring assembly we moved in one part, so once we could hook them to
the heddle frames again, all the springs were attached the same way the
owner had it before. I can't find much info on adjusting said springs
and chains. The instructions seem to assume everything arrives in
factory-new condition, which this loom emphatically isn't!
I'm also having a problem with the heddle frames falling when I treadle
(have both 1/15 pegged, to lift individual frames for untangling
heddles, and plain weave). #3, for example, I had to untangle in place
because it wouldn't stay up when the treadle was held down. Does this
have anything to do with the springs?
