Hmm...There's no regulator there and no wires that look like they would go to a
regulator.  The Alternator does not have the plugin connector as I would expect
but has the main power stud and two smaller studs with wires connected to
them.  The wires where the coming out where the horn relay should have been are
labeled with tape as Regulator and " left", "middle" , "right".  But one of
them is "t" shapped with two wires on it, so there would be a total of 4 wires
but not in a straight across patter.  Very confusing.

Wayne is correct. Also, the regulator is separate from the alternator and is
mounted to the firewall on the passanger side of the engine. It has a 3 or 4
spade wide, flat connector. I believe the horn relay has a 2 spade
connector.

.

The horn relay on my 69 conv is bolted to the firewall between the
Brake booster and the fender.  Just some short wires going to it right
Out of the main harness.

Where is the horn relay located on a 69? My project has several wires
coming out by the brake booster and the prior owner labeled them but not
clearly. It looks like he wrote "regulator" on them as if they are for
a voltage regulator but I was pretty sure the 69 alternator has an
internal regulator. Maybe not, anyone know off the top of their head?
They are not the wiper motor wires, those are to the right of the
booster and these are to the left.
