's Alberta Firebird web site under friends rides. Can I paste that link here? After all that I do have a question, My 1974 455 has the stock 4X 114cc heads. I think the c.r. is around 8.2 : 1. I have a good lead on some 87cc "15" heads that will put the cr into the (approx) 10.5 : 1 area. The only problem is they are the smaller (1.96" intake 1.66" exhaust) valves. So my question is this worth the head change? The 1970 455 B-body big cars with these heads made 360 HP and close to 500 ft. lbs. My low cr heads are either 215 or 250 HP (not sure). I want to put the 455 badges on the hood but I don't seem to have much more power than a worn out 350. Could more power be as easy as a head swap? Any opinions would be much appreciated.
