Just a warning out there on the "rice rockets" Even with a built motor some will still embarrass you. Stock STis, WRXs, Supra TTs, turbo'ed civics, and mildly tuned M3s will all probably be faster than a mild 455 powered Firebird. My WRX with less than 500 bucks worth of bolt ons went 12s on street tires. Just be sure you know what you're getting yourself into before you act smug ;) Set it up right, set up your drive train, to maximize the motor. Then I think you'll be in a good position. (Sorry I don't remember what you've said about the rest of the car....)
