However, even that only says that the references to the License must be left intact on a _copy_, not on any offer for a copy. I don't see any incompliance with the GPL just from the eBay offer. However, when I'm about to buy something on eBay, I typically do some searches beforehand to get a price comparison. Searching for FlightGear on Google gives me a link to the FlightGear homepage on the second item. The link and the summary should very much look like an official homepage to anybody doing such a search so hopefully they are inclined to look and find out that it's downloadable for free. However, the summary text provided by Google is not on the main page of the FlightGear homepage, so maybe it's a good idea to extend that short sentence "FlightGear is an open-source, multi-platform flight simulator." on top to a short paragraph, saying that it's freely available for download, etc. Not everybody knows what "open-source" means.
