Hi Dene,
I appreciate your caution in this matter, but I can't imagine any reason why
you would have any problem using images and information off the main
FlightGear web site. We have several groups that provide translations of
the FlightGear site and they "plagiarize" like crazy ... and it makes
perfect sense to do that.
Questions arise when someone does something that could be considered harmful
to the project, and then we discuss what we can do to slow down their
efforts.
In your case you are putting together a very positive web site, so you
should have the green light to use any imagery or text from the main
FlightGear web site.
Regards,
Curt.

I've stopped the web site, until I've clarified this..
.. so I need to get permission to put on my web-site;
- any screenshots of FGFS ...who is authorised to give such permission?
- screenshots of planes... I need to get explicit permission from the
planes author?
- photos that have been published... I need the originators persmission
before I re-publish?
I did ask Curt if I could use the FG logo so I think i'm reasonable safe
there... but I've obviously got alot of work to do before I can start
the server again.
Cheers
Dene
