I'm not sure what the question regarding TACAN is asking for. The TACAN that I used (in the military, and years ago) looked to the pilot just like a VOR/DME display. It just operated on a different set of frequencys.
There is a conversion available someplace from the TACAN channel number to the VOR frequency (to allow VOR recievers to recieve the TACAN dme for example.) Sorry I don't recall it.
