It happens only with the Xorg 'radeon' driver. Using ATI's propietary
'fglrx'
I had no problems with the textured models (EDDI terminal to be specific).
Just noticed this when being forced to the 'radeon' driver by ATI's lack
of
support for older cards (Mobility Radeon 9200) :-(
