Hi Ampere,
    If my coding skills were up to par that would probably be a better 
way to go .... then more information could be displayed that is 
currently difficult to do with textures.... line drawing for routes / 
etc ... waypoints , navaids .... Ive tried to do it with a combination 
of 3d and 2d panel methods ..... not good , IMHO. I think a render to 
texture method might work.I have plenty of ideas but I'm too far behind 
in programming skills :)
