Yes, first calibrated then wrote calibration-values to jscal.sh (as above).
Then compared console-output of jscal -p ... with jscal.sh => same dataset!
It seems that the new command-line in 50-udev-default.rules either does
not run jscal.sh *or* it does and the corrected joystick-values are
overwritten by the booting O/S at a later time???.
Manually running #./jscal.sh sets the right data, the uncalibrated
joystick is *calibrated* after doing this!
