Hi thanks for your reply. I discovered that I'm able to use the linux joystick support, wich has been ported to freebsd. Nevertheless it doesn't work. I'm not even sure if flightgear uses the /dev/input/js0 or /dev/uhid0 device. Both of them are working and usable. Recalibrating my stick with jscal doesn't work either. I ran it and then started fgfs, also I ran it, rebooted ans then started fgfs. The only thing I can say is that fgfs detects my stick correctly. It uses the X45 driver from [...]/Input/Joysticks/Saitek/X45. And my stick is a X45. Ah, and by the way: Opening and changing cables inside is no option for me. regards sven -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (FreeBSD) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQIVAwUBRep03tnkcivdkj5yAQKvcQ//WagTcYMy2/49QGo/nQyxbTRmp9zv/YWA McLOty4TsJ3uNvghTrvWqrvkt8lDnVG3bvY4qN2NmUuOzuw/imf2A/u97+rlcx94 xd3/89ANWpunxIqPI7ajSTkSNjV0A5QMmZ22LChrkrY/0o0UIsFPPQaFx9jbNKn4 Wi1QYD98S0eE7aC2d6EDJUF1nG/i5WKPu94R4EROZ9kaB2IfLnFUU1bli6zFBKfq fK4iu+EM3MOLzysrJ2S71cw6YTC1W87lhsB/3oOEPx4XWrzYpiQNLtcbq3fdkCf8 YY2mJT8NAfMHgw7SM1wJYbd7aKm0YR7SFmEhpsaEBYuCvW86gLIXEZdZizXs0Pho +ayq45TAI8ADgnDkuHMdQUAJ1RZHRizS5m1sPGi+wBq7OD/9Ig/gymqFjgWLgARM Sg6QzoiV8Culb/BGfaLbswoRDrdCxdJJSfyw7pkTM9bmsdzPTwqdxAEGI3U1dORH QCfwfNS0olzAkqopUz5pwpUaDVUurZx8D2VySko/c2VrxtgWhXZsfGhlCNgzFx+5 J87OqR2gYNjpSdg8cHQnBDzgqcKJUbq9L0YPJKdOsSyD89brDVT4U0U/NWY0cYQN h0qY+IpwWN2tRQ98QMg+ZKG9qnZ/g3xPBlwpcR2uwL4WF2UYeOecN+WwhPtgqYAT Bg//MnXsMYg= =mSRW -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
