Hi I'm sure it isn't hardware related too. It works with other programs with FreeBSD and I'm using it with MS Flightsim and Pacific Fighters and X2 on Windows 2000. > > I am using my X45 together with Simpad pedals for many years. It not even has a tool to calibrate the stick natively. I installed the linux-joystick support, so I'm able to use jscal but this only concerns devices under /dev/input/. Calibration for this devices works fine and is stored and reloaded on shutdown/boot. Other devices like my /dev/uhid0 (wich is in fact my X45 seen from freebsd) are not able to be calibrated. To be exactly: At the moment I have two possibilities to use my X45. It is known as /dev/uhid0. This is the device freebsd assigns at boot or when I plug the stick on runtime. Additionally, since I installed the linux-joystick-support, it is known as /dev/input/js0. This one is able to be calibrated using jscal, but I don't know how to force flightgear to use exactly this one. I do have some devices connected to my usb ports, but no one is an additional joystick, not even a hiddevice. Currently I have an usbhub and a cardreader connected. I tried to unplug both but it makes no difference. The X45 is connected directly to my computer, as I know that some people had problems with their X45 connected via an usb hub. regards, sven -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (FreeBSD) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQIVAwUBResQi9nkcivdkj5yAQJ/QQ/+P946LY6DSs5wujOVlb1k6kInJUrDtWTf apAnXkrdaHfQ2HI/fnDBHqyylCdjC54wnAWEEbwMPPQJy3og36itEi9+7ab0WFnm 0OnqoSVRMxB5WvsI1JEwjXQoKdrBinWC7vSEN+WZ1kWxnGUU4rxAAzDu82CsGSzP X1skkAXFJByqKn1Jj5o4/sV8caerLN7bgapvzq9vJCdyF+SXkqsHY/p41vK4DKQm I7nD78nAwif84JRRFlN9JKSs3R5+KVEv6rY3Rs0uXUDnXPqxfWzFtxOzfqodjkUy iWaxZM6enCoITFLi6V88HTeJgizB+B2WjZcpYqCw/tFarDt9Xy5PLmc/YdsH+rzx x/hsQuXy21aKye/ZfzZMNOhMHxvlbCa14IRBobGMKnzXeYveoa7JZbHeqhWEFvW0 oifD6NlCwUjywF24dVuSQjZIPauvM9bGKMNfbjb/71aMB/bmn7rbd4GV2uCtW59i ZYFTxCiIyCGfEU706TklYTedp5vnJ5twVlYdtE+RqXMZvLTUeq3DB6WxL3pRwAYw dBCoI4vLslOva5c6rv46C1w8nYUyBnpFMzBlG/4UkGgwYMf90jo4OxQSoCpDB/Bu povuuuz/ab0ia6jcH2LSngDfZMWPM1+gaHA32u37oT8nIjXg/RPizoozKR7ArRJf +a5BoXzNvhw= =2brc -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
