Like MissKitty said, talk to your neice, if she doesn't stop, try the
talk one more time and this time mention legal recourses. If you've
already tried talking to her and other family members to get her to
stop then send her a certified letter regarding the legal recourses
she is forcing you into. Sometimes tough love is necessary.

I KNOW what it's like to have family issues, it's not pretty or
easy. You don't want to hurt them but what I've come to realize is by
the time they treat you this way, they don't care a bit about you or
how you feel or what you do. So your only tearing yourself up
emotionally about 'hurting' them. I got tired of being torn up and
managed to let go of it, life got easier to breathe and do what was
needed. The amazing thing is, now that they've come to see how I've
removed myself, they don't bother me anymore.

Hope this helps,
Cathy
