I must admit it was our friend and mentor Mr Hal Helms that first got me
thinking about it - I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of Hal, he's a
bigger than me :)

However the whole idea of building this app is great - the real problem with
developing applications is management and specifications. I'd say 70% of the
work is specification gathering and dealing with the client. If the first 70
is done right then the remaining 30% is easy. Get this app working and we've
got a very powerful tool which will benefit each and everyone of us.

One point on customers: Customers are a pain in the proverbial (don't we all
know it) but they pay the wages and the secret to our collective success is
understanding their needs and delivering the right solution. That takes
thought, experience and understanding - but the rewards are large. Get it
right and customers will love you - because you can be sure they've dealt
with someelse who takes the attitude that customers are a pain.

Cheers,

Marc
