I've had such bad experiences with UPS that I'm on a 1st name basis with the
regional manager. I've told him that I'd rather tie a package to a turtle
than use UPS as my 1st choice.

Lately I'm using, depending on the size of the package, either the USPS or
DHL. The latter has drop-off sites at most Office Max and Walgreen stores,
and USPS of course is wherever your local office is. :) Haven't had a
problem with either so far.

DHL is fast, and the packages get there in good shape. I had a "ground"
package make it from the Chicago area to the Seattle area in 3 days instead
of the promised 7!
