These are from version 5.56E.

Could it be that you have an earlier driver installed? I note one of the downloads listed on Epson site is for OS7 and OS8 only.

If the print head is clogged would the Mac keep saying that it can't see the Epson printer? I constantly get a dialog that says I need the select the printer in the chooser.

It always worked in 8.6 but now it no longer does. I can live with the 9.2.2 and 10.4.11 not working at this time as long as it works in 8.6.. Then I can mess with the other systems. My HP works in 8.6 but not 9.2.2 or 10.4.11.

I've installed and uninstalled every driver I can find for this printer. If I try to print I get a dialog box that says I haven't selected the Epson Stylus 600 driver in the chooser, I go to the chooser and select the driver and keep going in circles. The HP 870cse works, but not the Epson,

The Epson used to work on this machine with OS 8.6, the only change I've made is I installed a 300MHz motherboard in place of the 233 original, But I have another Wallstreet 233 MHz and it won't run the printer either.

The Epson printers have always been a PITA for me, but this was my son's first printer and we have to keep it up as long as it still prints a test page.
