I have a 600 I use with a parallel adapter to usb2 for Tiger and it is very surprisingly working very well. I have permanent ink in bottle I refill cartridge with. Color is a little clog but works very nicely for text with a little graphics-color. My suggestion is to get an adapter and try it with a newer machine. If it still doesn't work probably something wrong with the interface even though the printer itself is OK. You could try and find a used one on Ebay and switch it, keep the old one for parts maybe... The serial port really slows down even a 14 years old printer like this one. Maybe a usb card for the wally too... -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Books, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
