If you do manage to fix it yourself for not that much money ( and the
parts for Pismos on ebay are pretty cheap ), the Pismo could end up
being a handy backup machine.
If you don't have an external hard drive that you backup your data to
then once you buy your new laptop , you could use the Pismo as one.
