Hello,
Well, phone lines...I get my internet through Cable modem. We still
have the second line left over from when we had dialup...I have it hooked up
so I can dial into the library using a terminal connection to get books put
on hold. I'll disconnect it. All of my Video game equipment is unplugged
already...I've been in the process of rearranging things...my C64
setup(including the VCR) is going to be moved across the room in attempt to
create more usable space a few days ago. I'll go ahead and shut the power
off to the VCR by switching off the surge protector, that should shut all
power to the VCR off...I just saw a line going down my monitor...and now I
see another one. and another one. arg! hmm...I also have the phone line to
my phone running from the wall behind me, behind my bed, to the corner of my
room, behind my desk, and to the phone mounted behind the C64. That's
always been strung up that way. No new electronics have been brought into
the house other than the C64, I think unplugging or even turning off
everything in my house would be impossible, it would be too much of an
inconvenience to the rest of my family.
There are high voltage lines running through my nieborhood. To get to them
you walk out my front door, through my front yard, across the street, and
across the park(a big field). My old walkman(1986) doesn't start getting
fuzzy until I'm halfway through the park. I've been here since 1996 and
I've never had any problems with any TVs or monitors like this other than
the crappy monitor that came with my sister's Dell, and they replaced that
one because it turned out it had a problem.
