Thankfully, I already own a good one :) When I was looking at the solder pads, some of them were raised off the board, possibly part of the trace, or something added during the manufacturing process to give the joints better connectons. I'm wondering how to test IC501. I'll google the part number and see if I can find some info on it, but if I can't, I might just wing it and hope that it works.
