ADC - Apple did it, not a manufacturer. The heat sensitive power button - Apple did it, not a manufacturer. Apple is very involved in their design work in all their products.
Another example - their keyboards, ever taken one apart? You should, its incredible the amount of design work in circuitry that Apple put into them, like them or not, one should appreciate the level of engineering they do.
